For purposes of this Cookie Policy, the pre-login signup and login pages at app.highgroundapp.com are treated as part of the HighGround marketing website. Analytics and advertising technologies may operate on those pages subject to the consent and privacy controls described in this Policy, but they do not operate inside the authenticated HighGround application for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

HighGround does not use advertising pixels inside the authenticated application to advertise based on customer Amazon data or confidential customer business activity.

HighGround does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Where applicable, HighGround provides an opt-out mechanism through its Your Privacy Choices control and recognizes qualifying universal opt-out preference signals.

13. California Sale and Sharing Disclosure

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, disclosures of online identifiers or website activity to certain advertising providers may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or potentially a "sale."

HighGround may share information through advertising technologies including Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and certain Google advertising technologies when those technologies are permitted to operate.

Categories of information involved may include:

online identifiers;
IP addresses;
cookie identifiers;
device information;
Internet or electronic network activity;
website interactions;
approximate geolocation; and
inferences based on online activity.

HighGround provides California residents with the ability to opt out of applicable sale or sharing through the privacy controls available on the website.

14. Global Privacy Control

HighGround recognizes qualifying Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals where required by applicable law.

When an applicable GPC signal is detected, HighGround treats that signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with the browser or device transmitting the signal.

Where applicable, advertising technologies used for activities constituting sale or sharing will remain disabled while the relevant GPC signal is present.

A GPC signal takes precedence over an advertising preference that would otherwise permit sale or sharing where applicable law requires HighGround to honor the GPC signal.

Because GPC is generally browser or device specific, visitors may need to enable the signal separately on each browser or device.

GPC is different from the older browser "Do Not Track" setting.

15. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting.

Because there is no universally adopted standard governing the interpretation of traditional Do Not Track signals, HighGround does not currently treat a standard Do Not Track signal as equivalent to a Global Privacy Control signal.

HighGround separately recognizes qualifying GPC or other legally required universal opt-out mechanisms as described above.

16. Your Privacy Choices

Visitors may manage optional analytics and advertising technologies through HighGround's privacy controls.

The website provides a persistent link labeled Your Privacy Choices, Cookie Preferences, Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or substantially similar wording that allows visitors to access applicable controls.

Depending on the choices made available, visitors may:

accept applicable optional technologies;
reject applicable optional technologies;
withdraw previously granted consent; and
modify previously selected preferences.

Rejecting optional technologies does not disable strictly necessary cookies required to provide the website or Service.

Using a provider's privacy control does not necessarily change the preference stored by HighGround, and changing a HighGround preference does not necessarily alter settings in an account you maintain directly with the applicable provider.

HighGround's consent-management system is designed to prevent applicable optional advertising technologies from operating until the required permission has been obtained where prior consent is required.

HighGround's marketing website consent controls may be used to obtain applicable consent before optional analytics or advertising technologies operate.

Quebec

Other Jurisdictions
