The short version of how HighGround connects, what it changes, and how it charges. This is a skeleton: sections are being filled in as the product documentation is written.

Connecting your Amazon accounts

HighGround connects through standard Amazon OAuth. There are no credential forms, no developer setup and no onboarding call. You authorize two things:

  • Seller Central or Vendor Central, through the SP-API, for catalog and sales data
  • Amazon Ads, through the Ads API, for campaigns and for publishing changes

Both are needed. The sales side is what makes the organic half of the picture visible, and the ads side is what HighGround reads from and writes back to.

Advisory and Autonomous modes

Automation mode is set per account, and every account starts in Advisory.

Advisory
HighGround surfaces every recommended action with its reasoning. Nothing publishes until you approve it. The flow is recommended, then your approval, then published.
Autonomous
HighGround publishes optimizations on its own, verifies supported actions against the live account, and logs every result. The flow is published, then logged, with supported actions read back.

You can switch between them at any time, per account. Autonomous is meant to be a decision you make once the action log has earned it, not a default.

How keywords earn their match type

Match type is treated as a lifecycle rather than a setting. New keywords launch in discovery match types and earn Exact through performance:

  • Broad, while the term is still discovering
  • Phrase, while it is proving itself
  • Exact, once it has earned the placement

Bids move before keywords get cut, and a pause decision is gated on ASIN-level health first. Budgets follow rank opportunity, with spend focused on the non-branded terms you can actually win.

The verified action log

After a supported action publishes, HighGround reads the live value back from Amazon and confirms it matches what was sent. The status is Verified, Mismatch or Skipped. Every published action is logged, whether or not it is read back, and that log is the audit trail behind anything the platform reports.

Billing

One percent of monthly ad spend. That is the whole invoice: no onboarding fees, no setup costs, no seat pricing, no feature tiers and no annual lock-in. Every feature is included at that price, across Seller Central and Vendor Central, with unlimited ASINs per account and both automation modes.

Agencies bill each managed account on its own card from the single workspace.
